Get into crypto without guessing your first step.
Learn the full beginner flow: how money gets into crypto, how USDT transfers work, where to store it, how to cash out and what comes next if your goal is trading.
CEX.IO, Bitbase and Hyro Trader links are referral links. Sendana and Trezor link directly to their official websites. Platform availability, fees and rules can change; always verify what appears in your own account.
Getting money into crypto
The route is usually: eligible Jamaican card or other funding method → crypto service → USDT or another supported asset.
Sendana — a clearer money-in and cash-out flow
Sendana provides a virtual USD account for ACH and wire receipts. When USD arrives, Sendana says it is automatically converted to USDC. From there, you can transfer USDC to a compatible wallet or exchange, or use listed withdrawal routes such as an eligible Visa/Mastercard-linked card transfer, MoneyGram cash pickup, a U.S. ACH bank transfer, or withdrawal to an external USDC wallet.
My current test status: I have not yet personally completed the Sendana-to-card withdrawal. My next withdrawal will be a small test, so start small and verify the network, fee, limits and destination shown in your account.
Visit the official Sendana websiteCEX.IO
I mainly use CEX.IO for cashing out. Its own help centre says card deposits and withdrawals depend on location, currency and verification level, so new users must check what appears in their account.

Kraken serves many regions, but card funding and features depend on verified residence and provider. Some instant purchases trigger a temporary withdrawal hold.

RedotPay documents card crypto purchases, and Jamaica is not on its current access-restriction list. Your bank can still decline the payment, so test small.

USDT and safe transfers
USDT can exist on different networks. The asset and network must match on both sides.
Correct
Sending: USDT on TRC20
Receiving: USDT on TRC20
Asset matches ✓ Network matches ✓
Wrong
Sending: USDT on ERC20
Receiving: USDT on TRC20
Asset matches, but network does not ✕
- On the receiving app, choose Deposit or Receive.
- Select the exact asset, such as USDT.
- Choose a network supported by both the sender and receiver.
- Copy the address and any required memo/tag.
- On the sending app, select the same asset and network.
- Verify the address, fee and amount. Use a test transaction for a new route.
Where should you keep crypto?
Choose based on your purpose and who controls the keys.
Exchange account
Convenient for trading. The platform controls the custody infrastructure, so avoid keeping more there than your plan requires.
Software wallet
Trust Wallet and Coinbase Wallet are examples. You control the recovery phrase and become responsible for security and network selection.

I use Trezor for longer-term holdings. For now, use the official Trezor website below. This is not a referral link. Never buy a used device and never share the recovery phrase.

Wallet or trading platform → supported off-ramp → sell/convert → withdraw.
- Choose an off-ramp that currently shows an available withdrawal method.
- Open Deposit and select the correct asset and network.
- Send a small test amount.
- Convert the crypto into supported fiat after it arrives.
- Review the fee, exchange rate, limits and destination before withdrawing.
- Keep confirmation emails and transaction records.
If your goal is trading
Getting USDT is only the setup. Trading requires analysis, execution and risk management.
Bitbase
Create and verify the account, open Deposit, select the asset and network, complete a small test transfer and move funds to the correct trading wallet where required.

Knowing how to buy crypto does not teach you when to enter or how to manage risk.
Learn a structured price-action process
The DTT ecosystem teaches you to determine direction, identify the likely target, then wait for timing and confirmation before executing. It includes training, planning tools, a trading journal, risk-management support and community access.
